About Me

Hi there, thanks for stumbling over my site!

Here you will find a selection of my work, ranging from my thoughts on the world and myself(!) through my ‘blog’, ‘audio’ work and a selection of my ‘photography’ 🙂

So here’s my story…….

I’m Sarah Dickinson, a 24 year old just clumsily stumbling through life currently based on the Isle of Mull!

I grew up in the small town of Morecambe in Lancashire and lived there until I moved for university in 2012. I relocated to Canterbury to study Film Radio and Television Studies after originally applying to take Art. Once I realised I was only considering the art route through pleasure not talent, the film course was a much more viable option!

As I moved just over 300 miles south, my parents moved the same distance north and set up a new life on the Isle of Mull on the west coast of Scotland.

I graduated from Canterbury Christ Church in 2015 with an Upper Class Second Honours Degree in Film, Radio and Television specialising in Television. After moving home to the island in the April once my degree finished, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my future so after floating around a couple of seasonal part time jobs, a month travelling and not much thought I decided to take up a Masters Degree!

Moving a whopping 600 miles back down south, I completed my Masters Degree in Radio Production in Bournemouth. After a testing year, I graduated with a Merit in Novemer 2017.

I am now back home for the foreseeable future, applying for ‘career’ type jobs with the hope someone will hire me! But in the interim I am throwing myself into anything possible to fill my life and keep my hand in the audio and visual world!

Hope you enjoy what you find here 🙂
